About the Faculty
The Faculty of Humanities was established on June 17, 1981. It comprises nine departments and four internal units: the Office of the Secretariat, the Language Centre, the Confucius Institute, and the Centre of Management of Special Programs.
The Faculty of Humanities strives to educate students so that they become qualified graduates who are equipped with up-to-date academic knowledge and career skills, who are thoroughly grounded in their discipline and able to apply their knowledge, who possess the desire to learn and the capacity for analytical, creative and original thought, who are moral and virtuous, who are model members of society and who are able to live in society happily.
The Faculty of Humanities strives to achieve excellence in the study of languages, literature, music, mass communications and the service industry, to be a community of virtue and wisdom dedicated to lifelong learning, and to do its outmost in making Kasetsart University truly a complete university.
